Job Description: Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Fortinet Pre-Sales Engineer & Product Technical Specialist to support our distribution business . The role focuses on technical pre-sales , partner enablement , and customer engagement across the Fortinet portfolio . The candidate will work closely with distribution-managed partners, system integrators, and enterprise customers , providing technical expertise, solution design support, and enablement to drive Fortinet adoption and growth. Key Responsibilities Pre-Sales & Solution Engineering Act as a technical SME for the Fortinet security portfolio, including: FortiGate (NGFW) FortiManager / FortiAnalyzer FortiSwitch & FortiAP FortiEDR, FortiClient, FortiSIEM (as applicable) Support pre-sales activities such as: Requirement gathering and technical discovery Solution architecture and design Technical presentations, demos, and POCs Assist sales teams with: RFP/RFI responses BOM creation and solution size Licensing and subscription guidance Partner & Customer Engagement Participate in: Distribution Managed Partner Round Tables Partner Round Tables Customer Round Tables Engage directly with partners and customers to position Fortinet solutions effectively. Act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales lifecycle. Training, Enablement & Onboarding Deliver partner enablement and training sessions on Fortinet solutions. Support new partner onboarding , ensuring technical readiness and alignment with Fortinet best practices. Conduct Fast Track trainings and technical workshops. Help partners prepare for and achieve Fortinet NSE certifications . Develop and maintain technical documentation, demo labs, and enablement material. Collaboration & Vendor Interaction Work closely with: Internal sales and product teams Fortinet vendor technical and channel teams Stay updated with Fortinet product roadmap, new releases, and security trends.
