Senior Mechanical Engineer This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office. Job Description: What you need to bring: At least 15 years experience in electro-mechanical design with a concentration in Telco and/or networking products with must have work experience in Telecom industries for at least five years. A working knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes for low and mid volume production is a must. Excellent understanding of electro-mechanical packaging, thermal, Power, NEBS and EMI issues. Understanding of high speed signal routings and large system installation in Data Center & Telco industries are preferable Must be a present user of a 3D solids modeling package, proficiency with Solidworks would be preferable and working knowledge of EPDM is plus. Must be able to do Tolerance Analysis of complex systems and have working knowledge of FEA Must be fluent user of Agile or similar PDM tools and understand ECR process Experience with IDF & ECAD-MCAD transfer process is preferred. Proficient with GD&T & FEA Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Typically 15 years experience.
