Complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements. Based on technical specification from end customers and inputs from OU Engineering team, the senior Civil engineer is responsible for the analysis , design, detailing and delivery of Civil solutions for substations, Bill of materials, RFQs, vetting of vendor offers, Engineering hours estimation, visit to project sites, technical risk assessment and opportunity evaluation etc Associate with Engineering Leads, Tendering team, Project managers, Primary, Site execution team, SCM, Secondary and Steel design functions, consultants, end customers etc. and provide required support in each Project / Tender. The candidate should have experience managing at least five (5) GIS or AIS substation projects across the full project lifecycle. Experience of Retrofit/brownfield project is desirable. Activities Involved Able to perform the following activities: Review and validate Civil Design Specification in alignment with project requirements, site conditions, load parameters, load combinations, material specifications, and overall design philosophy, ensuring compliance and obtaining client approval. Develop and validate load combinations for the Apparatus support foundations, Tower foundations & Buildings considering reliability levels and applicable design codes.
