Job Roles & Responsibilities: Support the research activities of Hitachi Research Institute (HRI), which is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The activities include, but not limited to, the followings: Collect and organize the information on macroeconomy, government policy/ geopolitics, finance, technology, industry, and energy & environment in India as well as other regions globally. Identify critical uncertainties for Hitachi, and opportunity/threat for Hitachi through the comparison with the present status of business strategy of Hitachi and competitor benchmarking. Work out the measures to capture opportunities and reduce threats Supervise junior researcher in the team in India.
