The engineer will take end-to-end ownership of Kubernetes cluster architecture, application deployments using kubectl and Helm, and progressively adopt GitOps practices through tools like ArgoCD. The role involves implementing robust observability frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Mimir to ensure system reliability, along with defining and improving SLA/SLO metrics. A significant aspect of the role includes automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and scripting, managing Kubernetes-native storage and networking, and enforcing strong security controls such as RBAC, OPA/Gatekeeper, network policies, and secrets management.
