Role Summary The Integration & API Engineer designs, builds, and operates secure, scalable integrations and APIs connecting non‑SAP applications and digital products across the enterprise. The role plays a key part in reducing point‑to‑point complexity, enabling standardised integration patterns, and improving reliability and time‑to‑market for business‑critical services. This is a hands‑on engineering role with accountability for technical design quality, non‑functional performance, and operational resilience. The role contributes to shaping integration solutions and standards, working closely with architects, product teams, and service owners to deliver robust, supportable integrations. Key responsibilities Design and implement APIs and integration solutions between non‑SAP platforms, aligned to approved integration patterns and architectural guardrails. Own end‑to‑end integration designs, including interface contracts, data mappings, transformations, orchestration, error handling, and resilience mechanisms.
