What is The Role Elastic is looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our India finance team. You will support financial planning, reporting, and analysis for our global finance function — and help make our finance processes faster and smarter using AI tools. This is a great opportunity for someone who is curious, enjoys solving problems, and wants to do more than just run reports. What You Will Be Doing Financial Partnership — Act as a trusted finance partner to business and functional leaders, providing timely reporting, dashboards, and visibility into operational spend. Serve as the primary point of contact for financial analytics and ad-hoc requests. Reporting & Analysis — Deliver management reporting packages, business scorecards, and financial models for senior leadership . Build and maintain dashboards using Tableau, Sigma, or similar tools — with a focus on real-time reporting. Forecasting & Budgeting — Support rolling forecasts, annual budgeting, and monthly budget vs. actual analysis using Pigment. Monitor KPIs, highlight trends, and deliver clear variance commentary. Core Finance Operations — Own month-end and quarter-end close activities including expense accruals, journal entries, variance analysis, and supporting schedules. Technology & Business Transformation — Lead re-engineering of FP&A processes using AI tool
