Role Overview Build the services behind modern governance software—and help shape how AI improves the way engineering teams deliver. As a Software Engineer II, you’ll develop secure, scalable serverless microservices with Node.js/TypeScript and AWS , while contributing to React-based user experiences. You’ll own meaningful features from design through production, helping deliver reliable, high-performing products used by customers worldwide. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys solving backend challenges, collaborating across the stack, and using AI tools thoughtfully to improve code quality, testing, research, and delivery. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff) Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable REST APIs and serverless microservices using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS. Deliver production-ready features across backend services and React user interfaces, from technical design through monitoring and improvement. Improve service reliability, performance, and quality through strong testing, code reviews, debugging, and operational ownership. Partner with engineers and cross-functional colleagues to make sound architectural decisions and clearly communicate technical approaches. Support and mentor early-career engineers through constructive feedback, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving. Use AI-powered development tools responsibly to accelerate coding, testing, research, documentation, and code reviews—applying judgment to validate outputs and manage security, privacy, and quality risks.
