Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Xceptor ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translating these into technical specifications, and implementing data pipelines using the Xceptor platform. This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize data processes. Responsibilities ETL Development: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain efficient and reliable ETL processes using the Xceptor platform for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements, source systems, and data transformation rules. Technical Design: Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and ETL design documents. Data Quality & Governance: Implement data quality checks and validation rules within ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Adhere to data governance policies and standards. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in existing ETL processes and optimize Xceptor configurations for improved efficiency. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support for ETL jobs, troubleshoot data loading issues, and resolve production incidents in a timely manner. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all ETL processes, data flows, and technical designs. Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, data modelers, and business intelligence teams to ensure seamless data integration and reporting. Testing: Develop and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans for ETL solutions.
