Citi seeks a highly experienced and driven Senior Technical Lead to spearhead the re-engineering of a critical client-server application within our Issuer Services domain. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to shape the technical vision and lead the development of innovative solutions for a leading global financial institution. Following the re-engineering effort, you will guide the team in delivering continuous business improvements and enhancements to the platform. Responsibilities: Provide hands-on technical leadership and architectural direction for the re-engineering of a mission-critical Issuer Services application. Design and implement robust, scalable, and performant solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and modern web technologies. Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence. Collaborate closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-defined technical solutions. Drive the adoption of modern software development methodologies, including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD. Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of projects. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. Champion the use of cutting-edge technologies and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a deep understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, leading and mentoring development teams. Proven experience architecting and delivering complex software solutions in an enterprise environment.
