Your Impact As an EMC Design Engineer, you will partner closely with hardware development teams to ensure products achieve electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance while meeting performance, cost, and schedule objectives. You will influence product designs from architecture through production by providing EMC expertise, conducting design reviews, leading troubleshooting activities, and supporting worldwide regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Collaborate with hardware design teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure EMC compliance is incorporated early in the design process. Work cross-functionally with Hardware, Mechanical, Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, PCB Layout, Thermal, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams during design, verification, and product qualification. Review schematics, PCB layouts, mechanical designs, routing, shielding, grounding, and system architectures to identify EMC risks and recommend design improvements. Work with EMC test team to perform pre-compliance and compliance EMC testing, analyze test results, diagnose EMI issues, and develop practical, cost-effective mitigation solutions.
