The Large Power Systems Division in Lafayette, IN currently has an opening for a Machine Excellence Diagnostic Specialist. In this role you will have the responsibility to use a variety of metrology equipment to perform diagnostic and troubleshooting of complex domestic and foreign machine tools and related equipment. Applicant should possess experience in utilizing one or more of the following systems: API 6D laser, API & Leica tracker laser, Hamar laser, Renishaw ball-bar, electronic levels, and API spindle analyzer to diagnose machine tool conditions. Schedules and performs proactive diagnostic inspections on machine tools and related equipment to achieve quality improvements. This individual will assist in supporting the maintenance team to troubleshoot electrical or mechanical problems that may arise. Correct
