Summary: The Controls COE is focused on delivering innovative and robust designs solutions for Carrier HVAC products. We operate across the entire Carrier product portfolio, providing a unique and dynamic opportunity to collaborate with multiple BUs across the organization. Our team supports the full MBD controls product lifecycle - including design, development, MIL verification, troubleshooting, and lab validations. This enables controls engineers to gain hands-on experience across all stages, from conceptual design and lab validation to field trials and fleet support. Key Role Responsibilities: Manage a team of 5-7 controls engineers to design and deliver stable and robust high-quality on-time controls solutions Support in project planning, design, execution, mitigating risks and conducting technical reviews. Provide technical oversight to work performed, ensuring appropriate processes & methods are applied, in accordance with a model-based design (MBD) philosophy Lead strategic initiatives for the controls COE to improve organizational quality and efficiency through technology advancement and process improvement Work with system engineers in capturing high level system requirements and structurally decompose them ensuring requirement traceability Derive control architecture and early-stage design over physical modules (e.g. PLC, RCP and HIL set-ups) Recommend design considerations to equipment design and syst
