About the role This role will Lead design & development of structural parts/ chassis of air-conditioners JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead design & development of structural parts/ chassis of air-conditioners Guidance to team structural design engineering Design reviews & action planning Management of CAD resources, allocation of the work & guidance Material analysis & selections Structural testing & analysis of parts, products Parts development/ localization activities, support to suppliers Review the tooling requirements and optimize investments Design & process FMEA, RRCA 3D software & design data management Drawings review & tolerance analysis Support to suppliers & supply chain for parts development EDUCATION PREFERRED: Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Required Skills : Structural Design & Analysis, Materials analysis, CFD/ FEA exposure, Structural Testing Management of CAD resources Drawings & tolerance analysis 3D softwares knowledge Parts development support EXPERIENCE PREFERRED : Design & development experience (min 3 years of experience as above) required as below: Essential Competencies/ Primary Skill Set : Strong product design & development competence on structure/ chassis design (preference to chillers/ commercial products work experience) Experience on 3D/ 2D software’s & awareness of CAE tools Experience in structural , qualification & reliability testing Rich knowledge on material properties Dimensioning & Tolerance analysis Ma
