Scope:  The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software enhancements and customizations for the Blue Yonder WMS product suite. He/She will also be responsible for ensuring quality releases of the Software Package based on CI/CD agile principles. The engineer will have to align with the Dev Lead/Scrum Lead on all Jira Tasks assigned within the estimates provided. This role requires strong technical expertise, coupled with functional knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS/Logistic), to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer and business requirements. Our current technical environment:  Software: Core Java, PLSQL and Extjs What you’ll do:  Understand business objectives and analyze customer requirements to propose effective technical solutions.  Should be able to provide effort estimates and create Technical Approach document.  Develop, code, and unit test high-quality solutions in accordance with established standards and best practices.  Prepare and manage software releases, rollouts, and patches, including release planning, scheduling, and creation of release notes.  Provide technical inputs and high-level estimates (HLEs) to support pre-sales activities.  Collaborate with customers and project teams to review requirements, specifications, and proposed solutions.  Ensure all deliverables, including code and documentation, undergo peer reviews and follow up to ensure feedback is addressed.  Perform risk assessments, prepare quotes, and define high-level functional and technical approaches for new software changes based on alignment with Dev Lead.  Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues, providing code fixes and unit testing in compliance with defined SLAs.  Provide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and other deployment related needs and work during customer time zones.  Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
