Overview Blue Yonder, a leading AI-driven Global Supply Chain Solutions software company, is seeking a Director of Engineering – Java Full Stack (React) to lead strategic product development initiatives. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership , driving the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native, full-stack applications. You will lead multiple engineering teams and play a critical role in shaping next-generation Warehouse Management and Supply Chain solutions, enabling seamless logistics in an evolving e-commerce landscape. Technology Environment Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, modern SPA architecture Cloud: Microsoft Azure (primary), Kubernetes, Docker Data & Messaging: Kafka, ElasticSearch, distributed systems Architecture: Hybrid (Legacy 3-tier + SaaS multi-tenant microservices) DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, automation Agentic AI/GenAI : Azure OpenAI, LLMs (GPT family), prompt engineering, vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone), RAG architectures, AI observability What you’ll do: Provide strategic and technical leadership for multiple Java Full Stack engineering teams (30+ engineers through managers/leads). Define and drive architecture vision for scalable, resilient cloud-native and AI-enabled applications. Lead development of modern SaaS platforms integrating Generative AI capabilities to enhance user experience, automation, and decision intelligence. Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering (e.g., Copilot, code generation, automated testing). Design and implement AI-powered features such as intelligent recommendations, conversational interfaces, and predictive insights in supply chain products. Oversee end-to-end delivery from planning through production, including AI model lifecycle management (LLMOps).
