We’re hiring an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to design and develop our automotive products in the areas of Active Safety and User-Experience. This position is located in TCI. Senior Web Application Developer Your Role: As a senior Web Developer on the Sustaining Engineering L3 team, you will support, enhance, and maintain Aptiv’s class-leading web-based automotive business intelligence tool. This role requires creativity, strong problem-solving skills, and self-motivation to address complex issues in a fast-paced production environment. Support and enhance Aptiv’s class-leading web-based automotive business intelligence tool as part of the Sustaining Engineering L3 team. Investigate, root-cause, and resolve production issues across distributed systems, often involving complex legacy code and minimal documentation. Collaborate with systems analysts, engineers, and developers to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and ensure system reliability and performance. Partner with users to develop and execute acceptance test plans that validate fixes and enhancements against customer expectations. Stay current with evolving software technologies and tools to continuously improve support capabilities and development efficiency. YOUR BACKGROUND · Bachelor’s Degree – Computer Science/Engineering or similar. · 6 to 13 years of experience in web application software development. · Experience as a backend developer utilizing Java
