• 5-8 years of experience in Yard Operations, Warehouse Management, Logistics, Shipping, Ports, ICD/CFS, or EXIM operations. • Experience in handling import-export documentation and customs-related processes. • Prior team management experience preferred. Yard Operations Management • Supervise and manage all activities related to material receiving, storage, stacking, dispatch, and movement within the yard. • Ensure optimum yard space utilization while maintaining safety and operational efficiency. • Monitor inbound and outbound cargo activities to support seamless EXIM operations. • Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, customs agents, and warehouse teams for smooth cargo flow. Inventory & Material Control • Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock positions, and yard occupancy. • Conduct periodic physical verification of materials and reconcile discrepancies. • Ensure proper identification, tagging, and traceability of materials stored in the yard. • Monitor aging inventory and recommend corrective actions. Documentation & Compliance • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, EXIM policies, statutory requirements, and company SOPs. • Maintain accurate documentation related to import/export consignments. • Coordinate with customs, port authorities, and regulatory agencies whenever required. • Support audit requirements and compliance reviews. Process Improvement & R&D Activities • Analyze yard operations and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce turnaround time. • Develop and monitor yard performance metrics and dashboards. • Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and optimization of yard management processes. • Drive continuous improvement projects related to inventory management, safety, and operational excellence.
