One of the biggest misconceptions among BBA, MBA, B.Com, BA, Psychology, and even Engineering graduates is believing that learning HR software automatically makes them an HR professional. It is common to hear statements such as: "I know Workday, so I can work in HR." "I completed an HRMS course, so I'm industry ready." "I know LinkedIn Recruiter and Naukri Recruiter, so I can become an HR Executive." "Learning SAP SuccessFactors is enough to get an HR job." This misconception has become increasingly common because many online institutes advertise HR software training as the fastest route into Human Resources. The reality is very different. HR software such as: Workday SAP SuccessFactors Oracle HCM Darwinbox Zoho People BambooHR LinkedIn Recruiter Naukri Recruiter are business tools. They help HR professionals manage people, hiring, payroll, attendance, learning, performance, and employee records. They do not teach someone how to manage people. Just as learning Excel doesn't automatically make someone a Business Analyst, learning Tally doesn't automatically make someone an Accountant, and learning AutoCAD doesn't automatically make someone a Civil Engineer, learning an HRM
