Network Engineers build reliable, scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructures using routers, switches, firewalls, wireless technologies, SD-WAN, VPNs, and modern networking protocols to support enterprise, cloud, and internet-based services.

What They Do

Design enterprise networks, configure routers and switches, manage LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure, implement network security, optimize network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, configure VPNs, monitor network traffic, support cloud networking, automate network operations, and ensure high network availability.

Daily Responsibilities

Configure network devices, monitor network health, troubleshoot connectivity problems, manage firewalls, optimize bandwidth usage, implement VLANs, configure routing and switching protocols, maintain DNS and DHCP services, document network changes, perform firmware upgrades, monitor security threats, and collaborate with cloud, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.
