Process Engineers bridge product design and manufacturing by ensuring products can be manufactured consistently and economically.
What They Do
Design manufacturing processes, optimize production workflows, improve cycle time, reduce manufacturing costs, solve process-related issues, develop process documentation, introduce new manufacturing technologies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Daily Responsibilities
Develop process flow diagrams, prepare work instructions, optimize manufacturing processes, conduct process validation, improve cycle time, perform root cause analysis, support new product introduction (NPI), monitor KPIs, coordinate with production and quality teams, implement process improvements.
