Crash Engineers help design safer vehicles that comply with international safety regulations and protect occupants during collisions.

What They Do

Perform crash simulations, analyze vehicle structural deformation, evaluate occupant safety, optimize vehicle structures, validate safety designs, improve crash performance, support regulatory compliance, and collaborate with design and CAE teams.

Daily Responsibilities

Prepare crash simulation models, generate finite element meshes, define impact conditions, run crash analyses, evaluate intrusion and deformation, analyze energy absorption, prepare safety reports, optimize structures, review test data, support vehicle development.
