Aerospace Quality Engineering focuses on ensuring that aircraft, spacecraft, engines, satellites, UAVs, and aerospace components meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, precision, and regulatory compliance. Aerospace Quality Engineers establish quality systems, inspect products, validate manufacturing processes, investigate defects, manage supplier quality, and ensure compliance with international aerospace standards throughout the product lifecycle.

What They Do

Develop quality procedures, inspect aerospace components, perform First Article Inspection (FAI), investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, manage supplier quality, support certification audits, implement corrective actions, monitor manufacturing quality, and ensure compliance with aerospace regulations.

Daily Responsibilities

Perform dimensional inspections, review engineering drawings, conduct FAI inspections, manage non-conformance reports (NCR), perform root cause analysis, monitor process capability, conduct supplier audits, prepare quality documentation, participate in customer audits, ensure AS9100 compliance, support continuous improvement initiatives.
